Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur announces new event dates for May 2025; call for papers now open

The organiser of Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur (IMKL) has announced that the conference-led event will return to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) with revised dates, moving from 7 – 9 May to 14 – 16 May to accommodate venue requirements. The event will bring together international industry experts, representatives from leading firms, academics and government officials to share strategies for advancing the digital capabilities of ASEAN manufacturers, both at the factory level and throughout the wider manufacturing value chain. Paper submissions for the conference component are now open, with a submission deadline of 31 January 2025. In 2025, a new pavilion, SPS Stage Kuala Lumpur, will also be introduced, connecting the regional market to resources from the international SPS network of fairs.

ASEAN manufacturing’s digital transformation in focus as Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur 2024 concludes

The second edition of Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur (IMKL) successfully drew to a close on 12 July 2024. From 10 – 12 July, this conference-led event provided guidance on Industry 4.0 and sustainability to manufacturers across the ASEAN region, bringing together 27 experts from around the world to share insights, present their research findings, and discuss case studies on the latest trends and technologies in the industry. Participants praised the event for its success in uniting professionals across a wide range of industries and backgrounds, along with its wider role in supporting the region’s digital transformation.

Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur 2024 to host international leaders in smart and sustainable manufacturing

Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur (IMKL) returns next week to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), from 10 – 12 July 2024. The event will bring together an international line-up of experts to guide manufacturers across the ASEAN region through key topics in industry 4.0, including generative AI, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles, cloud infrastructure, data centres and more. In addition to its flagship two-day conference, participants can look forward to a variety of product showcases, interactive workshops and live technology demonstrations.

Paper submissions now open for Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur 2024

Following its successful debut in 2023, the organiser of Intelligent Manufacturing Kuala Lumpur (formerly Intelligent Manufacturing) has announced that the second edition of the conference-led event will be held from 10 – 12 July 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Under the theme of “Towards net-zero: The digital transition for sustainable manufacturing”, the event will probe into a number of topics surrounding the implementation and advancement of smart manufacturing technologies, with a particular focus on how these technologies can be used to support Malaysian sustainability initiatives. Paper submissions for the conference segment are now open, with a submission deadline of 22 April 2024.

The inaugural edition of Intelligent Manufacturing closed successfully on 18 March 2023. Visitors were impressed by the quality of international speakers, the wide variety of industry topics explored at the conference, as well as the product showcases. Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the conference-led event took place from 16 to 18 March 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Partnered with the Selangor Human Resources Development Centre (SHRDC), Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and Messe Worldwide Sdn Bhd announced its newest regional event in Malaysia. Intelligent Manufacturing is a one-of-a-kind conference-led event to spotlight the country’s leap into Industry 4.0. The event will focus heavily on knowledge sharing to build up the competitiveness of key industries like the automotive sector in the domestic economy. To reflect this synergy, Intelligent Manufacturing will sit alongside Automechanika Kuala Lumpur as a co-located event from 16 – 18 March 2023, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
